3-36-1.

Let's think about that record for a hot minute. Do you know how difficult it is to pull off a record like that in major college football, let alone the NFL? That is a winning percentage of .088. That means that, in the three and something less than one half seasons Hue Jackson coached with Cleveland, he won less than 1% of his games as a head coach. Let's not forget how close he came to going 0-16 in back-to-back seasons.

I think history will look back on Hue Jackson as one of the worst coaches in the history of professional sports. I realize this thread is a week or two late, but I have just been too busy marveling at the awfulness of his coaching record to really put it into words until now.

It makes it even funnier to go back and watch him on Hard Knocks talking about "that's how we do things here."

When it comes to being a head coach, dude sucks, good offensive coach though he’ll likely be offered somewhere in that respect

No, that means he won around 9 percent of his games, which is still atrocious.

He went 8-8 in Oakland so his winning % is higher than that.

Worst part about him?

He will be an offensive coordinator in two years. Book it.

How many times did Norv fail, and yet he’s the OC in tonight’s game?

He was shite-tastic in Cleveland, but was 8-8 in one year at Oakland and actually tied for the best record in a bad AFC West. Surely, there have been worse. I would argue Pat Shurmur is worse and he’s still employed as a HC

I wasn’t sure how bad of a coach he was until Hard Knocks. Dude seemed so clueless. I know he had 1 win the last two years and while there’s no way that can be construed as a good coaching job, I also wasn’t sure how much of the blame was him vs. the talent level.

So this year was really the year to judge him. When he was on Hard Knocks and completely dismissive of the recommendations from his respected coordinators, it was obvious he was a train wreck. You haven’t earned close to the right to tell everyone to frick off and do things your way.

Rick Venturi was 3-48-1 in 3 years as a college HC and 17 NFL games as an interim HC.

Very low. But still a step above Jimmy "swindled my best customers" Haslam and the Cleveland Browns version 2.0.
