Got Clemson to 3straight playoff appearances and ACC titles. They weren’t exactly jokes before that either. Won the ACC once before that (ended bad with that horrible game against WVU in the Orange Bowl but still) and also beat LSU and Georgia. Then he had so,e pretty successful seasons where he beat OSU in the Orange Bowl, then the next year after a slow start he finished the season well and ended it by beating the absolute dogshit out of OU. Then the next year he gave Bama a close game in the natty, then the year after he actually beat them. And now he’s here again.

It’s just funny because when you ask people want they think of Dabo, people usually compliment what he’s done, but when you ask people to list who the best coaches are or the best names, I hear Saban (obviously) then Meyer, Jimbo, Harbaugh, etc. Dabo may be the 2nd best behind Saban at this point. The progression of Clemson under him has been pretty impeccable.

About to be tied for 1.

If he does it another year or two he can take 1a but Saban deserves a lot of room before being eclipsed.

Too bad he’s too chicken to try his hand in the NFL again.

I don’t think Harbaugh is even top 5.. he’s about no different record wise than the previous coach at this point?

He gets a ton of hype but hasn’t lived up to it at Michigan.

Dabo is top 3, possibly 2 soon. I think it’s Saban, Urban, Dabo

Harbaugh,

This is the one that cracks me up

Harbaugh is literally the most overhyped and overrated coach I have even seen.

He’s 3rd and he’s set there for at least 2 more years. Clemson will be the best current program if they win this year for sure from the last 3 years results

You know how none of us believe the media shapes our opinions?

Here's proof to you that it does.

ok he's not Saban or Meyer but come on

He made San Diego a winner, built Stanford into a mini power, took an NFL team to 3 NFC championship games including a super bowl and is winning at Michigan at a rate that hasn't happened in like 15-20 years.

Let's don't fool ourselves. He has surpassed Urban for the #2 slot.

Dabo is the best at being the dumbest person on his staff but he knows how to manage them and hire them. It's a more successful version of les miles CEO type role.

I'm impressed he manages to make good hires over and over, les couldn't replace Bo and Jimbo and it hurt us.
