Seriously, if they could have a 80% Kawhi that would make the series more competitive. I'm not sure they win it right now, might be warriors in 6.

Warriors look bad, bad, bad right now. I can't tell if it's missing Steph, late season malaise, or a flawed team. I think it's a combo of the first two, but we won't know until Steph comes back. They should beat the Spurs, but I'm not taking anything for granted at this point. I almost like it. I've become a lazy fan because of the Dubs' success. Make me a little nervous!

Don’t see the Spurs winning but I do see them taking the Warriors to six or seven.

That isn’t a good thing fit them with Steph out and Iggy day to day because of his knee. I figure they get pretty banged up for round two, which hurts even if they are getting Curry back.

Its not just curry.

Other, bench guards are out too. One was undercut recently.

On top of that, Zaza and Klay think blind behind the back passes are their key to sports center cameos and the warriors throw possessions away like 7th graders.
They play like fools.

kawhi clearly has no interest in playing for the spurs this year, and he MAY have no interest in playing for he spurs at all. dude was cleared months ago and has been mostly out of contact with the team and his teammates. Or maybe he saw what happened To IT and how he Played through injury when he should have sat and how it affected his pocket book.

I'm a spurs fan and this. I think they have only won 14 road games all year. Their home record almost matches Houston, but the road has been tough.

Sure could have used Kawhi bitch arse this year to help. I can't ever remember a top guy sitting out all year when he was cleared to play.(and getting paid 17 million while he did it)

I feel bad that Manu and Tony came back to try to win one more and Kawhi pulled this move. Its unprecedented.

Isn't Kawhi still in New York. I've given up hope he remains a Spur. His actions seem clear to me that he doesn't want to be a Spur.

Kiss of death from the poster who is 0 for his last 89498498 Spurs predictions.

Closest I can think of is Derrick Rose, back when he was still a star.

I seem to recall one lost season where his bad knee was cleared and yet he didn’t return. Given that he never really recovered, he was probably in the right to question the Bulls’ staff clearing him to play.

GSW would rather see the spurs than OKC or Utah right now imo

they're praying to scoot by the spurs and then curry comes back.

I am just a casual NBA fan these days and have only kinda started to take interest because the Pelicans have shown a pulse and AD is quality entertainment.

I watched the game last night and the Spurs looked like absolute dog shite. They looked old, slow, uninterested, and untalented. I know they have had trouble winning on the road, but was last night just a mirage? Or was it a sign of a team that just isn't all that great? I don't ever recall seeing a Pop team look so bad in a game that had meaning.
