He seemed to be solid for bama even after the injury and had the big kick return against Clemson the first time we played but never heard anything about him in the pros. He still kicking around somewhere?

I mean if you don't watch anything NFL related then I guess you probably would never hear his name. He started the year with the Dolphins and couldn't get anything going. Traded to the Cardinals and doing much better.

He was also the one who scored the TD on the miracle in Miami play over the Patriots last season.

Took David Johnson's job in Arizona. Gotta feel for that guy- he basically had 2 elite years and looks like he's on the verge of washing out. Still think DJ could help a team with more pieces around him- he just doesn't have the explosiveness to be the focal point of an offense

He has run for 1775 yards for 4.6 ypc with an additional 1027 yards receiving...for the Dolphins.

Now he has taken David Johnson’s job.

I believe he has been misused. He is also dinged up too often and seems to fumble in big spots too often.

Drake has actually been a much better player in the NFL than he was in college. The guy was a very mediocre back in college to be kind. He was a terrible blocker, fumble-prone and couldn’t hit an open hole to save his life. That’s why Saban had Henry carrying the ball 40+ times a game instead of giving Drake more carries.

Drake actually broke his arm covering a punt which is what led to Henry’s carries going through the roof.

He averaged 6.5 yards per carry for his Alabama career. Had trouble staying healthy but otherwise was very solid. You must be mistaking him for someone else.

You are such a troll and total incompetent. He was the best back on the team in 2013 and was highly under utilized thanks to Nuss. He had a bad fumble against Florida in 2014 and suffered a horrific injury the next week against Ole Miss.

Yeah dip shite he had some happy feet after having suffered a terrible injury the prior year. Played fantastic the last three games of that 2015 season.

You’d all know his name from Bama if not for injuries and Doug Nussmeier.

Him as a receiver/speed threat with Henry as the feature guy should’ve been an all time combo.

Still not as good as Trent Richardson in college. Chase Edmonds had a 3 TD game in that offense. By no means is Drake a bad RB but the system in Arizona seems like any decent back can flourish.

Probably because he spent much of his college career injured. In 2012, he was apparently something of a problem child which limited his carries in actual game time situations. He rushed for 700 yards and averaged over 7.5 yards per carry in 2013 as the third string back behind Yeldon and Henry.

In 2014 and 2015 he was hobbled by injuries which limited his carries. He was out for the year after he broke his leg in 2014 and tweaked himself every now and then as well as broke his arm in 2015.

Yeah one of the worst teams in the NFL has a "system" where any old running back can do great. What the **** does that even mean?
