What'd you think of the way they got Tua off the field?

I'm guessing they're second guessing the themselves this morning, as the video rolls over and over on every sports channel.

They had him try to stand on a dislocated hip, bad ankle, and bleeding from his face.

Then they treat him like royalty and pile him onto the back of a golf cart that he barely fits on.

Damn Saban, is this the way you cover details?

The photo of the ?nurse holding him on the back of the cart.....
we won't see it this week, but sometime in the near future, that will be farked into a Virgin Mary holding Christ (as a baby or post-crucifixion) classic. (Pieta)

It was hard to watch. Looked like a wounded Gladiator getting drug out the coliseum during a show.

LSU fans have a really weird obsession with melting over Bama and Saban. Some of the comments about this injury are a real stretch.

to be fair, there was no way for them to know that, at the moment they were trying to get him off the field... and players with severe knee issues, which they were likely assuming it was, get helped off the field, without a cart, all the time...

i'm not saying it makes their handling of it right or wrong, just saying that we have the benefit of hindsight when making our assessment of their handling of it, whereas they didn't....

Wait, you think that Tua and the training staff didnt know whether his knee or his hip was hurt?

Do you think Tua is like an animal and couldn't tell the trainer where the pain was?

Sports fans have a really weird obsession with an activity that has a lot to do about nothing.

Evidently, you're one of them.

I would hope that a major college football program’s trainers could tell when a hip is dislocated

The game was in Starksville, I was glad they had something with wheels available.

I’d imagine the first questions asked was “what’s hurting”

then his response was “my hip!!!”

So that would have been a good hint that maybe his hip is injured

It was Starkville. You lucky they didn’t throw him on the back of a cow
