What was the explanation for 3rd and do-over

for the chiefs ? The play was stopped so they could put 10 more seconds on the clock ?

They kept adding seconds after almost every play on chiefs last drive

They started running the clock on the original third down when it shouldn’t have been running. Refs said they killed the play before it started.

re: What was the explanation for 3rd and do-over
The main official said the clock would start on his signal and it was an incomplete on the previous play. The back official is, apparently, the only official who caught the mistake and came running in waving his hands and blowing the whistle but it wasn’t until the play was snapped. The play should have been allowed to stand and the time adjusted.

That was bazar. I usually don't give a shite unless it's the Saints, but it's pretty obvious who the NFL wants in this Super Bowl.
