Here's some potential WR1s hitting FA (unrestricted) next year that the Phins could target:

Allen Robinson
Marvin Jones
Corey Davis
Will Fuller

Some other dudes past their prime:

AJ Green
TY Hilton
Sammy Watkins

I’d trade Tua immediately.

Anytime he played a team in college with near or equal talent, he either played poorly and/or lost the game. Throw in the injury history, and it’s not likely to end well.

While I agree with you about Tua. He was a huge risk in the 1st place, but other teams already know this. So who would they trade him to?????

At this point I really think the Jets will take Sewell, so the Dolphins should trade down 3-5 spots and take Smith/Chase/Waddle with their first pick and then just use their second to fill other needs.

I would say the Saints, but Sean's BFF Taysom still exists

In all serious Las Vegas could be interested. If they want to move on from Carr, it has to be before 2021 kicks off. Gruden loves him some Tua, and it could be an all Hawaiian QB room in Vegas.

FWIW, Carr has been good this season so it likely won't happen, but Mayock/Gruden have always be wishy washy talking about Carr's long term status with the team.

Jets just drafted a LT that’s a beast in Beckton. Doesn’t really make sense to draft another elite left tackle prospect

They’re gonna take the OT. Simple choice

Bengals are idiots. They were in prime position to pick Sewell to help build a wall around Burrow.

RIP Joe.

Never heard of Gruden loving Tua. He loved Herbert to the max though and said had he left jr year he woulda taken him. Likes Mariota a lot too so far more likely they'd stick with a year of MM if they traded Carr.

DAFUQ?

They actually have 2 1st's right? So they could get a shot at one anyway. While also getting a #3 worthy player.

GTFO. He beat Burrow and #11 LSU 29-0 in tiger stadium. Did the talent level at LSU just improve tremendously over the off season? Beat Georgia in a national championship as a freshman, and threw for over 400 yards and scored 5 touchdowns against what you have surely called the "greatest team of all time"

Seems to be holding up better than Burrow.

The absolute irony of LSU fans saying Tua can’t stay healthy and isn’t effective all while Joe got washed out by a routine hit and is getting outplayed by a practice squad QB.

What is in that water in the bayou that makes y’all this way?

Get one in the draft. Cheaper.

Green or Watkins will be with the Ravens next year. I don’t see Hilton leaving the Colts unless they have locker room drama.

I think the connection was bc of some of their shared FCA contacts or some shite. It may be anecdotal, don't remember exactly.

Tua's skillset (release, accuracy) does fit Gruden's West Coast Offense. I know Mayock loves Bama/Clemson esque guys from championship programs, which is evidenced in the last few drafts with Ruggs, Jacobs, Ferrell, Renfrow, etc.

If I were the Raiders I would keep Carr simply due to past crappy quarterback PTSD. I do think this season has solidified Carr's short term future with the team, but the record still isn't good enough. This year clearly the defense was the main issue since that unit is historically bad.

Yep, far more logical to keep Carr (16th QB salary) and address the defense with every move more or less.

2) Pick Penei Sewell. You can move last year's top pick (Austin Jackson) to RT

I think the jets are going to take him.

I forgot about that. I doubt the jets take a qb not named Trevor, at least not early.

Take the tackle if he’s available.

Small caveat of considering a QB in a small trade back if there is someone you’re super high on. I’m not crazy about Tua and if you think it’s a mistake cut bait now with another guy because I think Flores is the real deal and has them on the right track in a lot of ways.
