What percentage of the audience watches to see the victory dances in FB?
Posted by real turf fan on 12/21/21 at 11:12 am938
It's not just one guy celebrating that he got into the end zone. It's his buddies who join in the endzone, and now it's the 'good play doing what you're paid to do' celebrations that cameramen fixate on.
I'd rather watch more players interacting IN the play that is executed well.

I enjoy the celebrations but I also don't have a stick up my arse

It was fun the first couple of times, but now it's annoying and I have to chuckle that half of them get called back for some ticky tack penalty.

i change the channel any time a team is in the redzone. I want to see defense, not some showy WR dancing in the endzone or complaining he didn't get a PI flag because a corner breathed near him.

A full-on Rockettes performance from the defense after an interception is a bit much.

I don’t mind them having their fun. They’re entertainers doing incredible things while playing a GAME. As long as they don’t hold up the game, let them have fun.
In my opinion, penalties for taunting and celebrations should be eliminated.

If they do celebration dances during the play they might get tackled more easily tho

I'm tired of all the celebration bullshite. When did scoring or making a good play become not enough for them? Now we've got to act like a bunch of fricking clowns.

Who cares as long as they're not doing the first down point down 28-10 with 4 minutes left in the fourth quarter. That shits retarded. Youre getting your arse kicked and haven't moved the ball all day, stop celebrating.

I logged on just to give this an up vote.
If your team is doing the arse kicking, rock on.

My prediction is that, in the next few years:
1. NFL will change rules to allow extra points for great celebration routines and each game will have celebrity judges to judge said celebrations;
2. Each team will then hire choreography coaches

I’m just blown away by how fricking corny all these pro athletes are.
Like the world keeps telling us they are cool, but they are fricking corny.

bad example. Look at the score. Game isn't "over" yet and they still have a chance to win in OT with a touchdown + 2 point conversion

Is this thread for real?
If you're a get off my lawn guy...well, there were far more celebrations back in the day...
That's why the NFL became known as the No Fun League for stopping all these long celebrations.
And then College started penalizing ANY celebration let alone this:
This is just after a 1st down btw, not a TD.
