Patriots wouldn't. They cheat their way to titles without getting penalized.

Considering how much merchandise crane has sold over the last few years every single one outside of the Red Sox yankees and dodgers.

I sure as hell would
I would have my school get the DP for a few years if it meant a football or men’s basketball title

We all know 1 team who would do it, the Dodgers, cause spending billions certainly didn't work.

Nah, you heard all the sanctimonious interviews? They wouldn't feel like the "earned it" and there going to do it the "right way".

Almost all. They are all cheating anyway.

I don't know if that matters. The money penalty is chump change. The other penalties will be forgotten soon enough. shite, most of what is written now about the Black Sox is sympathetic and everybody forgets that Pete Rose's biggest frickup was denying everything.

It's more about people criticizing them for spending when most of the money is retaining their own players. I have no issue with that and neither should a fan of any team, so I find it odd when people try to use it as a slap in the face.

Eventually teams like the Braves will have choices with their young pitching and players. Either you let them walk or pay them and increase payroll

Braves have a crappy ownership group that acts like there's a salary cap.

A lot of teams do that which is sad, they can make more from a cheap payroll and revenue sharing

And then you have teams like the Marlins who sell off everyone good multiple times, even after winning a title.
