It has to be the Astros, right?

nope, that doesnt even come close to the game rigging done by the NFL or the no call against the tackling of the saints receiver before the ball was even in the camera shot in NFCCG

Astros and it isn't close. Blatantly cheated to gain a competitive advantage and the organization was complicit at every level.

Idk, we're barely a fifth of the way through the century.

I'll get back to you in 2099.

Disagree.

It’s honestly bullshite that they will get somewhat of a pass because of the pandemic too. The players should consider themselves lucky as hell that a lot of baseball fans will have more important shite to worry about than an opposing team by the time the season starts up.

Astros not gettin a pass buddy, MLB PR machine sent out a flair of using the stros as an example warning to all teams “cuz it’s not good PR to be seen as cheaters”, den MLB attempted to sweep this issue under da rug and let the issue drift away from social view wit the attitude of “see how quickly we fixed that problem...”
“Stealing signs” is the game within the game, starts in little league, been around forever.
“Banging on trash cans” is laughable and NOT the latest technology BS, stop being so naive.
MLB has far greater issues and PR nightmares dey are attempting to cover up...

Lmao, have you ever played baseball?

We would throw at guys we caught trying to steal signs/relay calls at the plate.

It is a part of the game to a certain extent, but it is not something teams allow to happen and just say ‘oh well’.

Antonio Margarito using plaster in his hand wraps. Most cheating wins you a game, his cheating made guys bleed from their eyeballs.

Roy Jones Jr. losing to the boxer from the host country in the Olympics was the biggest most blatant cheating I have ever witnessed.

Him and his trainer should have been beat to death for that.

Lance Armstrong claiming to have not used PED's all those years only to be found out he did.

That was my second choice behind Lance Armstrong.

Once Margarito got on the radar screen for loaded gloves, he really didn't do all that well and took some beating of his own against Pacquaio, Mosely and Cotto---who owed him a beating for the one he took in their first fight.

Not in the 21st century, but honorable mention goes to another boxer and trainer in Luis Resto and Panama Lewis for the beating a young prospect with a promising career ahead of his took in their fight. Billy Collins was an up-and-comer until he fought Resto who not only had plaster of paris in his wraps, but his trainer, Panama Lewis removed some of the padding in the gloves. Collins took such a beating in that fight he never fought again.

Collins died in a single vehicle car crash near his home and many thought it was a suicide.

I watched that fight and when they announced Roy had lost I just couldn't believe any judges in such a worldwide event would cheat so blatantly to award his opponent the victory.

Wasn't Roy Jones technically in the 20th century? LOL

Since 2000:

1) NBA - Timmy D dropping what anyone with two eyes and a brain should have known since the 1990's and especially early 2000's. NBA = WWE

2) The Astros

3) The Patriots - they did this more than once

4) NFL - So many blatant fix jobs to choose from. I'm not a Saints fan but that one is the most glaring.

5) SEC Football - Again, so many to choose from. Pretty much the entire 2009 season was rigged for Bama and UF. 2006 LSU @ Auburn is another blatant fix job. Bama's "miracle comeback" against UGA in the NC Game was obvious too. The list is long.

I quit watching boxing and the NBA in the mid 90's, so I missed out on any boxing scandals.

Yeah, the parameters are getting blurred a bit. Jones was in the 88 Olympics when that decision was made. Long before the 21st Century for sure.

been around da game my whole life, lil league to college and coached multiple levels, it is the game within the game, spy - counter spy, stealing signs and protecting signs involves risk and retribution, information is the goal and advantage...
