re: What happens to CP3?
Are he and Hardln contractually obligated to keep making State Farm commercials together?

God, I hope so.

You play him to see if his value was diminshed by playing with Harden. Hope he stays healthy and looks like a superstar. Then maybe try to move him then. No way you give him 100 million just to walk away.

OKC buys him out, he finally gets his wish to play with the Lakers and signs for the minimum, then he and Rondo spit in each other’s faces and fistfight during the first team scrimmage

But if by some crazy chance he gets bought out, I see him going to the Lakers.

Because they are in full rebuild mode and would rather give those minutes to young players (SGA and Schroder) and develop them rather than waste those minutes on someone who doesn’t want to be there anyway.
I really don't know if Shroder is that important to their long term plans in the first place if they are in rebuild mode. He's not an especially good point guard, and while he's not old (turns 26 in September; entering 7th season), he's older than the players teams build around for a long-term future.

Besides, according to BBRef, SGA's playing time was split about 50/50 from PG and SG. And offenses don't really require players to fit neatly into 5 positions anyways. So teams can have 2 PGs on the floor to fill the 2 guards positions. And there are almost 8000 minutes between the 2. And with the trend towards managing minutes, especially if they're building for a future, it would make sense to not give them too heavy of a workload.

He's still a very good player, far from a rotting corpse. Unless they want to tank, he will provide a net benefit when he's on the court. Plus it wouldn't hurt to learn a bit for the younger players to learn a bit from one of the best PGs of all time, even if he's unwilling to mentor them (added bonus if he is though).

He’s about to get a 90 million dollar cameo in Space Jam then take a greatly reduced buyout and join LeGM

This actually make sense. OKC gets a worse contract and a far worse player, but they're more likely to be in the lottery with a better chance at a top pick with Wiggins to help their rebuild.

Minnesota gets a better player at a position of need, who can help them win now with the KAT resigning coming up soon. I actually think RoCo, KAT, and CP3 would be a pretty good threesome that compliments each other well.

What is your point? Cousins for a few million is a great pickup for any team, especially given the Lakers needs. It's a replacement level salary to a player who is far better than a replacement level player, even when he came off a severe injury. And the upside potential is the all-star level he was pre-injury.

OKC would get a couple more 1st in the deal with Minn.

I could see CP3 getting dealt to Miami, playing in the East would be better for him. Probably be a 3 way deal, a few teams are interested in Winslow.
