What, exactly, does Dak Prescott do well?

He's not very accurate, he's not very clutch, he seems to fold under pressure. He rarely sets the Cowboys up for success with his pre-snap reads and other decisions. The one thing he is supposed to be able to do well, run, he never does. He holds on to the ball far too long and then takes needless sack after needless sack when there are alleys to escape and use his so called athleticism to gain yards.

What the hell does he do well?

Since Joe Burrow nuthuggers like to reference PFF, Dak Prescott had the highest PFF grade among all NFL QBs when under pressure this season.

Joe Burrow makes everyone look bad. It ain’t Dak’s fault. Not everyone can measure up to Burrow

He pretty much stopped running after his broken leg

He ran yesterday a couple of times because that's all he had but he doesn't want to anymore, he was a threat before the injury

He threw for 4400 yards and 37 TD's this year with a 104 passer rating which is all in the top 10 for NFL QB's

His O-Line was trash yesterday

He's pretty good at cashing paychecks.

Don’t blame Dak for his shortcomings. He’s from Louisiana and can’t help it.

He’s a solid passer, decent pocket presence, pretty good mobility but not as much since his injury.

He’s an above average quarterback. Cowboys lost because they were undisciplined and have a potato for a head coach.

Did you happen to see the thread that discussed all the good teams the Cowboys played this season?

Neither one of these statements are true.

Simply not true.

He is an above average QB, who does everything pretty solid. Nothing spectacular but you can’t really argue that he is not a top 10 QB.
Can you win a SB with him? Well that’s a different story.

Did you know against playoff teams he threw for 19 TD and 4 INT with 2198 yards and completed 71% of his passes Arizona, New England, Las Vegas, Philadelphia (x2) Tampa Bay, and Kansas City

I'm not sure some of you are watching the same game that I am.

He may be a top 10 quarterback, but that's not because he's so good.

I'm not a Cowboys fan, but dak is pretty accurate and most of the time has a good feel for the game. He doesn't do many things extremely well but he does a lot of things pretty good. Do I think he is deserving of the money he is making? No but I do think that he is a top 15 qb. He is a bit overrated but you can find flaws in almost any qbs game.

Good regular season QB, not a guy that scares you when the game condenses in the postseason.

in 4 playoff games, he is 1-3 and has thrown 6 TD passes. Three of the games have been at home.

That's close to how I think

Elite? No

Good? Yes

How much is that worth? I don't know. The market pays quarterbacks very generously. But how much better off is your team with a top 10-20 versus a 20-30 quarterback?
