What ever happened w/ Bernie Fine?

Was he actually a pedo or were they able to prove that those people made up all that shite about him?

It wasn't true so the story just went away with no coverage of it not actually being true. It was a huge story because the Penn State story was so hot at the moment.

I remember the SVP show episode where he (Scott) was talking about how uncomfortable it was making him that ESPN was running with the story when there was little evidence to support it.
Jim Boeheim was calling people out hardcore too.
Then apparently some "evidence" got released, ESPN kept running with it, and Boeheim publicly apologized.
The whole thing got debunked and you barely heard anything from ESPN after.
I don't remember the specifics but that's some of what I remember.

I don't really remember but I thought one guy completely lied and the other nobody was really sure if it happened. His wife maybe banging basketball players added another odd plotline.

There was not enough to charge him, but they were never entirely disproven. Syracuse settled a defamation suit after Boeheim called the accusers liars.

Ya Boheim came out with a vengeance, which was beyond non-PC post Sandusky.
ESPN, and specifically OTL, was giving it mega coverage throughout the daytime talk/debate shows.
I think I remember that there was a phone call between the wife and a former ball boy, where there were vague references to Bernie acting out. The wife said something like "oh well you know Bernie"

That is correct. The wife knew that something was going on during the taped phone conversations.

From what I remember about the phone call was that she was a drunk and or backstabbing whore who said she wouldn't be surprised if he was doing something shady.
