Wasn’t that the standard to overturn? It progressed in the following stages.

Stage 1: Indisputable evidence required to overturn.

Stage 2: If they think it was more than 50% in favor of overturning, it got overturned.

Stage 3/Now: If there is the slightest argument to be made to overturn the call, the pretentious douchebag replay officials will prove how smart they are by overturning the call.

The Panthers TD to Byrd earlier when his arse clearly hits out of bounds was just as bad as the Steelers call.

The booth boys have been ignoring that standard for years.

Just change the damned rule to de novo review if you're gonna do that anyway.

The still shot shows both butt cheeks on the ground and a sliver of green between them and the line.

Ball touched the ground not under complete control in the Pats game. 2 good calls, tough on the teams that they went against, but good calls all the same

indisputable evidence

Seriously, that phrase clearly is not the standard they use. If it appears in the rule books they need to remove it because more often than not replay uses a much more generous standard.

To try to put it in %, what would indisputable be? Maybe 90%+> (and even that is arguably 'disputable') however I would say replay's threshold is about 60-65%, so more along the lines of 'probably'

The correct call on a bad rule. Needs to be changed this offseason.

Rule should be that if you have possession and control when the ball crosses the goal line, the play is over and at a TD.

It’s one thing of the receiver is bobbling the ball as he crosses the goal line. But that isn’t what happened today.
