He's 38 and 10-0

Contract ends this year

I think his last one was two years at 68

Contract has " POTENTIAL OUT: 2021, 2 YR, $66,000,000; $22,250,000 DEAD CAP"

I mean if they keep this up and make a deep playoff run they don’t have much of an option but to resign him. What other choice do they have at qb? Helmet head ain’t gonna get it done

Sign him for 2 more years. They have nothing behind him, and they have a loaded roster

The better question is, what do they do WITHOUT Roethlisberger?

One needs only to look at 2019 to see.

He might retire, and they trade for Darnold

If they win the Super Bowl I could see this

Everybody talks about golden boy Brady as Ben keeps winning

First, see if the same scenario plays out that did with Jerome Bettis (win the SB then retire).

If not, unless there's a real good chance that most of the team returns and can repeat, move on. You have to rebuild at some point.

What a silly comment. Brady is 43, Ben is 38. Brady won super bowls in 2015, 2017, and 2019 when he was in the same stretch of age Ben is going into now.

Let them call Robert Kraft and ask him what they should do.

Lifetime contract, beyotch!

He's arguably the greatest player(other than Joe Greene) in the glorious history of the greatest/most accomplished franchise in the league. He might win the MVP(Russell probably will), he's definitely winning Comeback POTY, and is on a trajectory to go to his 4th SB(The Steelers 9th) and win his 3rd. He's gonna waltz into Canton.

He gets whatever he wants.

And Go Steelers!

I endorse this. But I don't think he'll be there once the Steelers spot comes up.

Sign him to one more year and get Burrow from the Bengals somehow. Someone needs to save Joe from that franchise.
