I have to believe he is not ready to hang it up yet. I think he will eventually return to College Football. If you are a mid-level P5 team do you hire him? Or will an elite program come calling?

He’s not taking a mid-level P5 job.

He"ll sit a year or 2. Maybe go back on TV. Then see what programs open up and maybe he goes there. I would have said he was done but I don't think there is any way he ends his career with the shitshow that was the 2021 Jaguars.

He needs to chill out for a year or 2. He's made a lot of bad decisions since the end at OSU.

Just since September he's been in the headlines for the wrong reasons a lot.

Flame away, but for better or worse it's a different world now in CFB and appearances matter to the people make the decisions who have much different priorities than fans. I think this sticks to him and nobody touches him. It's like Hugh Freeze, people are still expecting somebody to take a chance on him, but I think there's gunk attached to him, permanently, and he's stuck at Liberty.

We need to stop hiring ex-Florida coaches.

So what you’re saying is that he’ll be taking the Florida State job when they fire Norvell.

This depends on how well his ego can handle the public shaming he just got plus being beaten down on NFL sundays week after week and losing the locker room + his coaching staff.

He has hung it up twice without near as much adversity facing him.

He has to be kicking himself for taking that Jacksonville job when he could have just waited for a short time and gotten USC or LSU. I know there are openings every year, but I can't see a big school he would want to go to available in the next year or so unless Texas decides to cut bait on Sark.

Imagine if he could’ve kept his personal behavior in-line, and was still HC at Florida, they’d have a dynasty going on and about 8 national championships.

Urban is a personal frick up, with a great coaches mind.

He seriously just needs to hang it up. He's burned bridges at Florida and Ohio State - two programs where he won a combined three national championships. Coaches who win it all at a school are generally worshiped there for life. Not Urban Meyer.
