i had some buddies that went to ULL and would talk shite all day about how ULL was better then when it came to game days they were decked out in their LSU gear and I would just laugh.

So, back to this club painting shite. Do you use paint remover to remover the lettereing? Also, if the putter is black will it remove the black as well?

i use orange citrus strip, its a paint remover gel. It will not hurt the putter

My post got lost in the ULL debacle...
Navy "Cleveland" and red "Precision Forged"
What do y'all think?

100% acetone nail polish remover will not remove the black finish. I have black matte finish irons and have used this strong stuff on them 6 times already. Use the weaker nail polish remover to wipe away the excess, as the strong stuff will eat bubbles in the nail polish

Ok. So, I just brush on the fingernail polish and make a mess, then come back later and scrub off the excess? Does the newly painted lettering not come off as well?
Also, does anyone have some pics of some of their work?

I appreciate the Q & A... Not everyone has done this type of thing before and are concerned about not screwing up the finish on pricey equipment.
