...which guarantees them even MORE primetime games.

I mean, every other SEC game is buried at noon or 2:30 except Arkansas. There's so many early SEC games that a good SEC matchup is being played in the afternoon with heat warnings on SEC Alternate Network.

The only other even remotely watchable game in Notre Dame's window is Oklahoma State/Texas, and nobody outside of those two states will probably want to watch it.

Keep that shite in mind when the media talks about the amazing ratings they get tonight.

You’re saying schools with regional fan bases should get billing over a national fan base?

It's the SEC/CBS contract that is pushing all of the games to the afternoon today so they don't conflict with their primetime game.

Ehh, I will say that Notre Dame is once again incredibly overrated and will likely get fricking run tonight. So, yeah they don’t really deserve primetime CBS, but neither do any of these SEC blowouts or the sissy slap fight between UF/UT

The SEC Network is the only channel that can broadcast an SEC game against a CBS SEC game. Florida/Tennessee probably would have been a night game if CBS hadn't chosen this week for their double header.

Notre Dame is playing in prime time because CBS chose this game for their prime time week after fans got tired of watching LSU Bama blowouts year after year. Blame LSU, not Notre Dame.
