well i know its not pressure but standing over a 5 footer is different when you are just out playing a round than when you are in a tournament. I dont care if its a scramble or what.

Id like to do it and maybe will soon. Id like to meet some of you guys

You'd be surprised at what makes you nervous.

I f'd up more tee shots than I ever have. The irons and putter weren't nearly as nerve racking as I'd have thought.

I don't get nervous in tournaments for some reason I'm more focused. We play money games every week and always have some kind of match going on. usually there are 20 guys on #1 tee watching you hit heckling everybody...you learn to focus fast.

yeah i dont really mean it as nervous as much as concentrate to much get frustrated easier type stuff. I play money games with 2 college golfers and another guy who could have played in college and decided not to. So im use to have pressure putts and stuff like that but still just different when your scores get posted online

This describes me as well. I like a tournament environment.

I love wolf so much

we arent ballers so our games dont get that crazy. we play 1$ low and 1$ added birdies double eagles quad it. Sometimes we will play 2$ each but thats about it

Same for me. I play with a regular group of two college golfers and one guy who could have played but didn't. Playing with them a few times a week is way more intimidating then playing with some schmuck I have never met.

Also, as I have gotten older I have learned to only play against the course. When I was playing jr tourneys I would see a kid on pace for a good round and I would see where I was in comparison to him and that's how I would play. That gets you in trouble real fast. In a tournament, it's just you and the course. Control what you can and don't worry about what everyone else does. Unless it's the 18th and the guy you are playing against is up 1.

it was 5 man game. $2 wolf. Birdie doubled the hole, one hole carry overs. Eagle Triples the hole. Blind wolf Triples the hole, once you got to 16 the man down the most could bet up to half of what he was down...you can guess what happened.

thats intersting. I have never played that but the other stuff is pretty much the same. I like playing low and added because if you are playing with someone who is really good its not like the person on his team is gonna do work no matter what they do.

we dont carry anything over either. normally when we are playing the wolf game there will be side bets of 5 5 and 5 matches between people.

lol. too much math forme. I hate wolf. I play good and lose money...I play crap and win money. I hate that game. I won $125 the other day because I went lone wolf on a par 5 after I Ryno'd a drive. two putt birdie and won the hole and went from down $12 to up $64. got on the right side of two more birdies in the last three holes and was $125 richer after probably shooting 85. The two guys who lost $100 each in that game shot 73-76

thats the fun of the game. it gives everyone a shot

We played with a guy who was just kinda starting out so we gave him like 22 strokes or something like that and he played horrible and still came out on top. just the way it is. Wolf is just fun. we dont play for that much money though so its not a crazy
