Ellendale worked a deal with Atchafalaya so it shouldnt be too bad

Aren't half Ellendale's greens done? When do they expect getting the whole course complete.

nah they started on the front 9 around april 10th, and shut them all down at the end of april. they are playing temporary greens in the fairways with 6 inch cups. supposed to be ready for play in august or september.

i played there the first weekend of april, and they were cutting down greens in the fairway about 1/4 the size of a normal green. their members will most likely drive 25 minutes to atchafalaya for $15 than play ellendale

but if you get a chance, go play it after the get the new ones. I like ellendale's layout and it has some fun holes and is always In good shape. i didn't think they needed new greens, but they were 40 years old so i guess they had to go sometime

ETA: is it obvious we only have 2 good courses?

Haven't hit balls in over a month. Hit 40 wedges from 125. 19 inside 15 ft. 16 between 15 and 25 ft. 5 outside of 25 ft.

Gonna start doing this everyday after work. I've got a mat and can hit over the corner of our 2 acre pond to a pin.

Also decided today that I'm gonna build a big arse green with some left over sand and dirt on the farm. Gonna see if I can get some dwarf bermuda from my dad.

now thats a great idea. i put a flag up at our camp and can hit up to 9i when i get bored. if the neighbor is gone I might hit a couple 3w's up the hill towards their house

Yeah. But living here in B.R. for the last decade, I've felt that way sometimes.

I know there are at least 5, but only 2 or 3 I really hit regularly. So it won't be a big deal.

I like the idea of having one good course I will be playing regularly.

The only reason I haven't done it yet is b/c we have horses and I figured they would just frick it up. I may have to rope it off or something.

Just got a present from my tour buddy. I sold some clubs online for him so he brought me back something from the tour truck.

I had no idea that he was going to get these but if I did I would have requested gold end caps.
