For sure. Good news is Ill have a ton of free time to sneak in plenty of rounds this summer. And the course is pretty empty since a lot of MSU students are gone.

Have a goal of shooting a 42 or better over 9 and 87 or better over 18.

The MSU course has to pretty nice considering the quality of their turf grass program.

It's pretty good. Perfect for a college course. Greens are good and roll well. Though they've been giving me hell lately.

Water doesn't drain well on some fairways and it makes them more susceptible to disease when it rains a lot.

Yeah that can be rough out there ..

When I played, the caddy said on the first hole, "alright, sir, a little baby fade here will work nice"

Threeputt said, "Padnah, I got one shot and its not a pretty little baby fade"

I hooked it in the deep stuff

you would think they have done this enough to watch you on the range or ask you about your game before just assuming you can work the ball like a tour pro. i cannot wait to play my first round with a caddie and see what they have to say

Yeah, golfer told me punched the damn things yesterday.

I booked the round I'm playing there tomorrow on Monday.

Oh well. I'll still hit it.

I'm hitting up Sugarland. BIL is only has about 6 rounds under his belt so LaTour would be tough for him to get around

I was referring to a course over here, Santa Maria. (punched greens)

Probably my last round here if it ends up raining Friday.

I've already started looking at La Tour tee times. None posted yet for next week. I should have my new house full of boxes by the end of the day Wednesday. That means Thursday will be a La Tour day.

Played 36 holes today. First 18 at Greystone shot 90. Drove the ball much better. Putted OK. Chipping was on. Short irons were golden. Got myself into trouble a few times trying to get cute. Had 6 penalty strokes which crush a round.

Second 18 was at denham springs CC screwing around with my cousin and working on some things. Shot 91. Played in my street shoes, didn't even feel like putting the golf shoes back on.

usually not hard to get on if they don't have anything special going on. with Ellendale kind of out of commission it may get more play this summer, but Ellendale worked a deal with Atchafalaya so it shouldnt be too bad

ETA: I may be out there next saturday
