hit some balls behind the shop after work, was destroying a 7i. i was sweating my arse off when i got home so i took a cool shower and had my first ever shower beer. i think i have a new post round and after grass cutting ritual

Played an impromptu round again today...screwed up what could be a really nice round with a lot of missed putts and a bogey late...shot 72.

Well I should have had the best 9 hole score of the season, but I had 3 or 4 three putts and some just terrible shots.
I keep gaining distance as I get more comfortable with my driver. Been hitting wedges on 2nd shot, where I used to be hitting 7I. Just gotta get consistent off the tee. I'll have three or four holes where I pipe it down the middle or a bit right. Then Ill slice one way off to the right.
Just need to piece together a full 9 holes or a full round.

Concentration is the key. Thats my problem, I lose focus during the round. The first couple of holes I'm dead focused and then as the round matures I lose focus. Its tough to stay 100% committed to every shot for 18 holes.
