Should I drop him for M. Moore and start him as my flex this week? I know this would just be a quick fix b/c Moore doesn't have much value once Parker comes back, but w/ Parker being injured so much I'm thinking Moore may see the field later this year as well?
I'm a little confused about your question. Don't you have any starting RBs? I think Moore is a solid pick up for this week and should be a great addition to any bench as Parker may have issues, and Moore has excelled (when Parker is out) in the run-first Pittsburgh offense. As for Torain, I haven't heard a word, but I'm going to check into it. Do you have other options going forward or not?

I read the reports, although nothing's official yet. I guess anyone who started Torain should feel lucky that he had a TD (which should have been Royal's) and 68 yards. If he goes on IR, his career may be done. Just too many injuries in a short time.

Anyway, I expect the Broncos to make a move quick to get some bodies in the back field. CBSsportsline suggested that Tatum Bell could be in mix. If he is, you might pick him up (if you're in the desperate category) because Denver has almost no other options. Young (who could conceivably come back), but it may take a while. Bell knows the system in Denver, but who knows what kind of shape he's in, so it's buyer beware, but, really, at this point, what other options are there?

I think Addai is the better option. Thomas and Stecker won't touch the ball enough. Kevin Smith is somewhat attractive, but I still like Addai. The Steelers are difficult to run against, but not impossible. Portis managed a decent fantasy game last week, and the Colts like to get Addai involved in the passing game.

I saw the discussion regarding your recent trade. I have to ask you though, why are you 0-9? Bad draft or injuries? I guess I ask because if a guy in our league drafts like crap and then appears to be colluding with a playoff contender, the guy is cordially invited not to be in the league the next year. It really doesn't matter whether you colluded or not. If we think you did, you're out. If you're not adding to the competition in the league, you're also out. So what's your explanation?

Sorry I probably wrote it wrong. It's not that I don't have starters but my RB's are looking like the Bronco's backfield right now.

Forte- starting
Graham- injured and on bye
Torain- started this wk but going on IR
F. Jones- injured
S. Morris- injured
Rhodes- backup
McClain- backup/ short yardage

I've been starting Graham and Forte pretty much every week I can. I'm just trying to find some more guys who are producing to give me some flexibility.

I've heard numerous reports Torain's going on IR now so I'm definitely dropping him and will try to pick up Moore. I'll probably also drop McClain just b/c Rice has been coming on strong and looks to be sharing carries w/ Willis now. The sucky thing is that I originally drafted Rice late in our draft but dropped him b/c he wasn't producing and McClain was getting all the carries. As soon as I get rid of him he goes off.

As you said though, who else are you really going to pick up at this point that will produce? BGE? Cedric Benson?

I was going to say that Benson might not be the worst option, but then I saw his upcoming schedule. Except for Week 14 v. Indy, he looks to be in the low range production-wise.

You need to pick up Moore this week. Who know, you might even get a future week out of him depending on Parker's health. Then I guess you also need to pray for Graham and hope that Forte feels rookie of the year pressure from Royal (edit) and Chris Johnson.

First Torain has a torn ACL and is done Torain

Willie Parker is listed as out Parker so Moore may be a good start over Jones Drew. Also throw in the mix that Big Ben is banged up so Pittsburgh may try and run more. I hope this helps

Thanks for the input.

I'm hoping to get some production out of Morris eventually. He was doing well before he went down and BGE and Faulk haven't exactly been setting the world on fire in his absence.

He was doing okay, but not great. The problem in New England is that they always have a bunch of guys involved. No one ever emerges as the primary ball carrier.

Pick up Moore and maybe Parker's injury will linger.

I have a flex position open and am trying to decide between L. Coles, Donnie Avery, and Julius Jones. It is a 1/2 a point per reception league. Thanks. Oh and I stuck with Royal and Winslow last night.

Steve Slaton or Jamall Charles?

Ahman Green should be back and could cut into Slaton's touches. Plus they are playing Baltimore.

I doubt that Ahman Green will get enough carries to have a significant impact on Slaton's production. However, Balitmore is a stiff group and the Ravens will be daring Sage to put the ball in his hands. I see Slaton's potential as limited for this game.

I haven't looked too much at Jamaal's match up, but the Chargers haven't been too tough on opposing runners. With Kolby Smith on IR and Larry Johnson in time out, I've got to believe that Charles will benefit early and often. He did fine last week against a fairly good Buc D.

Advantage (for this week only): Charles.

This afternoon's news:
quote:

Jackson out for Week 10

St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson (thigh) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 7. He will not play in the team's Week 10 game.

Dawg, you asked:
quote:

The answer is yes based on what I heard:
quote:

Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron said Rice had an "excellent" practice.

I have B. Jacobs, Deuce, Addai, Lendale White. Can only pick three. I think the choice is between Addai or White. What do you guys think?
