Pick 2 WR:
Eddie Royal vs CLE
Cotchery vs Stl
Vincent Jackson vs KC
This is easy. Royal and Jackson. Both are on my team. They are both having great years and they both have good match ups. Cotchery may not be a bad match up, but Favre likes to spread the ball around between offense and defense.

So I just picked up Ryan Torrain and have (at this point) thrown him directly into my starting lineup...am I crazy to start this cat so soon?
Well, the answer depends. If you're benching Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch to play Torain, the answer is yes. But if you're trying to replace Sammy Morris or Michael Pittman, the answer is no.

So I have Chris Johnson, DeAngelo Williams, and Marshawn Lynch. I am thinking about putting Williams in since he is playing Oakland and J. Stewart might be hurt. What would you do?
It's helpful if you put the Week 10 opponents in your post when you're looking for advice. I normally wouldn't hesitate to recommend Johnson, but the fact that the Titans are in the Windy City this week does give me pause. I'm also a fan of Lynch, but I have to admit that his offensive line isn't giving him the lanes he needs to secure fantasy stardom. Add to that the fact that the Patriots have suffered their injuries on the offensive side of the ball, not the defensive side. The suprise of the three is Williams who faces the Raiders. Not much more needs to be said about that, except that Stewart has struggled and the competition has propelled Williams to overachieve thus far.

On balance, I say Johnson is likely to have a solid game, but unlikely to explode. Lynch could underachieve as has much of the season, but he could have a great game, too. You just never know. I look for Williams to have a good game and possibly a great game. I can't tell you what to do here, but my rule is never to bench my normal starters based on a slightly more favorable match up.

No one knows what Torain is going to do this week, so it's a risk. But your upside with Faulk is limited, so it may just be risk-taking time. I agree with Cocks, time to have some balls. Pull the trigger and don't look back.

Dawg, where have you been this week? I was beginning to think you'd abandoned all fantasy hope and turned your thoughts to basketball or something crazy like that.

quote:

Mcnabb against the Giants at home
Eli Manning on the road against Philly
or Flacco at Houston?
I hope you weren't being serious by putting Flacco in the company of McNabb and Manning. Joe is boy and Donavan and Eli are men. Okay, maybe Eli is just a teenager, but Donavan is a man. I have a rule about rookie QBs-don't trust 'em, don't start 'em, and always start the opposing D. Nine times out of ten, that rule will serve you well.

Of the other two, I like McNabb in this match up. Wouldn't normally advise anyone to bench the Superbowl Champ, but I have a feeling about this one. Either way you go (out of these two), you'll probably be fine.

Thanks for the feedback fellas.

I am now on the Torain train for this week. Those Denver wide receivers are going to light it up but the need to spread the wealth.

I'll be listening on the radio because I don't have the frickin NFL channel. I'll be pulling for Royal to have a big game, but I suspect that Torain will be the main ball carrier if he can handle it. good luck.

I have a flex spot and WR spot available. I have Torain, Laverneous Coles, and Royal. I was planning on starting Royal at the WR spot and am torn between Coles and Torian. Any suggestions?

Voodoo, I made that trade last week giving up Lynch and D. Henderson for LT and Laverneous Coles. I think LT is gonna have a big second half while Lynch is leaving people scratching theie head after last weeks performance.

Well, if you want to be safe, the obvious choice (to me) is Coles and Royal. I tend to be more aggressive (IE I am starting Favre over Cutler on nothing but a hunch ) and would probably go Coles and Torain although I am sure that MANY will disagree. But I am 8-1, 7-2,7-2 and 6-3 in the pro FF leagues and 8-2 in my college one.

EDIT: someone make sure wrlakers gets this link because he has offered quite a bit of advice and would hate for him to have to listen to it. Thanks

By the way, does anyone know of a better college FF league than CBSsportsline?

Edit: If anyone would like to offer anything on college, I am teeter-tottering between Pat White (vs Cinn) and Josh Freeman (@ MO). Any thoughts?
