No. The Bulls-Lakers in 1991, and the Lakers-Sixers in 2001 both ended in five games with the road team winning four out of five games. Back then it was a 2-3-2 format. The Bulls lost game one at home, won game two, then swept the three road games. The Lakers did the same thing.
Edit: I'm a Lakers fan, and I remember hearing about how no team had swept the middle three games at home. That was the case.....until Detroit did it to my Lakers in 2004.
