beyond weight - hes what, about 33-34 now? An Achilles is a tough one for anyone to come back from and often takes 2 years for a guy to get 100% despite being able to play the first season after.

for a big guy on the tail end of his career already - the loss of explosive push may be all she wrote. at best he will be a space eater if he returns, not the disruptive force he once was.

and dont expect the pats to keep him around at 9m next year just for sentimental reasons.

id guess released, gets a shot with another team, and maaaaaybe plays real limited roles if he even gets that.

Fwiw, he had not been playing very well this year.

It's still a huge loss though, I wonder if this could lead to a Seymour reunion.
