7 IP 4H 2 ER. Second good outing in a row for him. Hopefully the pen can hold a 6-2 lead.

Villanueva has been a pleasant surprise thus far. So has Samardzija really and the whole staff. It's that anemic offense that I worry about.

Starting pitching hasn't been bad at all. Offense and the bullpen have killed them.

He's already had a couple of huge clutch hits this year. Dude is in a really bad funk right now and still has 4 bombs and 11 RBIs. He'll be fine.

That GlenAllen Hill bomb was incredible. I was watching that game. I was pretty young at the time, but that was the longest homerun I have ever seen. He didn't even take a full swing lol.
