Again

Saturday, June 16th

On June 16th, the Men's Eagles will travel to Houston, Texas for a weighted matchup with Scotland, currently seated No. 5 in the World Rugby rankings.

The United States have become very familiar with BBVA Compass Stadium, home to the Houston Dynamo, as they return for the first time since a 2016 draw with Argentina XV during the Americas Rugby Championship. This marks the fifth time the Men's Eagles have played at BBVA Compass Stadium. More notably, the Men's Eagles will reunite with Scotland in Houston after an incredibly well contested showing in June 2014.

The match is supported by the Harris County Houston Sports Authority and kicks off at 8:00pm CT. Additionally, the match will broadcast LIVE on CBS Sports Network as part of the networks commitment to Rugby.

Anybody going?

On a related note, the USA Eagles are on top of the table in the Americas Rugby Championship, after trouncing Chile in Fullerton yesterday. Replay of the match should be available on the Watch ESPN app.

I’ll be there for sure. Had a blast the last time they played a big test match there.

I always forget which side of the stadium is the best to sit. Last time we were in the sun the entire time and drenched in sweat by the end.

Wonder why France, Wales or England don't want to come over here?

Just finished watching the USA-Chile match. Those subs for the Eagles are a load to tackle. Those former football players will be top tier players once they can refine their rugby skills.

I'll be there as always. But first the Sabercats have the NOLA Gold coming to town this weekend! Get to see some old LSU friends.

By law, the WRU can only play exhibition matches outside of the UK in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s dumb, but it’s supposed to ‘grow the game’ in Wales.

That stadium holds 18K

The Ireland game was packed, the Scotland match was almost packed, the Argentina and Italy matches were the smallest attented games, but both were still over 10K fans.

These 4 games were like 6 years apart, I think?

I have the game between New Zealand and Ireland up in Chicago at Soldier field, from a couple years ago downloaded and they say it's a sell-out game 63K!!!
