Lakers seem like a decent bet considering they may be working on a kawhi play sooner or later.

I honestly think they should wait it out. Let Kawhi sit or let him be traded and then sign him. I know PG13 didn't work out like that, but this seems different.

Rockets went from 7-1, to 6.5-1

Cousins going to GSW actually lowered the odds of CC winning it all...

Different?

It was assumed by pretty much EVERYBODY that PG was 100% a Laker. Not only that, he's in a shite situation in OKC.

You're either betting on the Warriors or betting their whole team gets in a bus crash and has to forfeit.

The Rockets were the most immediate competitors and they've they've gotten worse while the Warriors improved.

I don't know just my feels.

Kawhi is willing to sit this szn per reports. I think he's going to have it out for the Spurs and GS when all is said and done. And to do that, you go to the Lakers and join Lebron.

Lol. Trevor Ariza has become Kobe Bryant on this board overnight.

2 days into free agency they haven't even signed his replacement yet. the overreacting/lack of big picture here never ceases to amaze me.

1. That's a strawman

2. He was 2nd on the team in minutes. Why is he getting minutes over other guys if the team is literally no worse with him off the court?

Agree with this. Sort of similar to the Carmelo situation. You get to keep your core and then get Kawhi next year. They aren't beating GS next season anyway.

Not an advanced stats guy like most of y'all, but I think lineups with Luc in for Trevor had a better defensive rating on the whole. Injuries to Luc had alot to do with Ariza's heavy minutes as well. There is no issue or hesitation to make that change.

But losing a 3&D guy, like Luc, off the bench could be an issue. They lose flexibility as well, which was a huge advantage of having those 3 solid perimeter defenders. Gotta replace that 2nd or 3rd guy off the bench. That's the only place we've "gotten worse".

He was the 3rd best player on the team.

It's not very ideal to lose the 3rd best player on the team when when the team you're trying to beat is better(GS would probably be better than last season even if they didn't make any moves).

I am a fan of the league. that's why my take on Cousins was the same as the most respected writer in the game, Zach Lowe. I am informed on the whole league. What did I mention on Cousins

Don't get back on D
Turnovers on offense
takes shots from better players

What does Lowe say in his article the next day

Don't get back on D
Turnovers on offense
takes shots from better players

Lowe and I both follow the whole league, not just one team and then overreact to a move Like what happened yesterday. We are big picture guys.
