It really is. I get the tradition of it because we’ve done it for 70+ years, but it’s not like we say the pledge or sing the national anthem before we start our jobs every morning.

I seriously don’t understand the point of holding this nation together if the people in it have no real interest in being part of it and take no pride in it.

I love the line being drawn in the sand by the Obama leftists. The anthem is now “political” because it has pro-American vibes to it, and BLM and the left have convinced these guys that America is bad. They are the new sheeple.

I guess its just weird to me people are upset when nobody really acts 'respectful' during the anthem anyways. I mean I have never in my entire life watched sports with a group of people at someone's house and they stood up for the anthem. Tons of people at the game leave their hats on, don't stand, etc.
