SEC is still going ahead and may want to pick off schools from ACC and Big 12 that want to play, negotiate a super tv deal.
Im a bigger Saints fan than LSU fan and I'm sick of the sjw finger pointing from both institutions, but if there was a hybrid SEC, ACC, Big 12, they might pull me back in.

Exactly. Are they too stupid to understand this or just being intellectually dishonest? Both?

Intellectual Dishonesty

a lot of the fear porn is coming from this. they're the same people who truly believe a vaccine is the solution and it's right around the corner. that's legitimately their only potential solution. "shut down until there is a vaccine (in early 2021) and have teh government subsidize everyone until then!"

The ACC is apparently planning on playing no matter what. They aren't on the fence according to Louisville's Scott Satterfield. He's claiming that the ACC is forging ahead.

the ACC is facing financial turmoil like the Pac12 in a NORMAL season. a year without TV money would destroy all of them

@realDonaldTrump
The student-athletes have been working too hard for their season to be cancelled. #WeWantToPlay
Big 10 liberal presidents are fricked now

If you cancel, and Trump endorses playing, every midwest middleground voter is going to be fricking livid and blame the democrats, right or wrong

Politically, Trump truly hopes they cancel now. It locks up the election for him

Illinois isnt a state he needs

Michigan and Minny on the other hand? Huge. And how do you think people in those states feel about college sports?

I’m not convinced that Minnesota cares that much about college sports.

I know that and you know that.

I’m just making fun of the lesser Big Ten states like Illinois, Maryland, and NJ.

Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Iowa are a big fricking deal.

The Big Ten's presidents are scheduled to meet again on a call at 6 o'clock ET tonight, when they'll make the final decision on the football season, per source.

100% they will pivot and not cancel
