Second time this week I've seen an ump toss someone for insignificant shite. Fowler got tossed in a game against the Nats for asking where his strikezone was. Note that Fowler had never been ejected from a game before in his entire career. He wasn't yelling or anything. Literally standing there asking questions and the ump tossed him. That and tonight are two of the most chickenshit ejections I've seen in a while. The powers that be need to check these douchebags.

Can anyone tell what that last word Harper said was? Watching it earlier on MLB Network, I rewound it several times and looked like a gay slur to me.

For those saying the ejection was bullshite, I saw him turn around and pretty aggressively yell at the ump the AB before on a called 3rd strike (and it was clearly in the zone) a bit earlier in the game. I was almost surprised he didn't get ejected there. So it wasn't some one-off thing. I don't really care that much though.

Yep...sure did. I don't blame him for the emotion, but damn, it's on tape and MLB will drop the suspension hammer for that...unless the umps name is Fagliano or something and his nickname is "fig"

That's 7 ejections for Bryce, less than 5 seasons in. Pretty impressive pace. The modern record is Gary Sheffield's 33 ejections.

So you can say "frick you" but calling somebody a fig is suspendable and beyond the pale - OMG! I wonder if you can call somebody a cocksucker. Maybe they don't want to draw attention to that part of their schtick and they would just let that slide.

English Premier League players, as well as others leagues, tell refs to "F*** OFF!" All the time during matches with no retribution. I'm sure the old school baseball purists will vilify Harper, even more so, over this though.
