Right now he is the best and it’s not really close.

There is no question about this. And, Rafafile though I certainly am, he has been the best player since 2011.

Nope…. Joker has this on lockdown since 2011. Now Rafa still does well on clay but I think he is tired and wants to just enjoy his time on that big boat he has.

FIFY

Huge Fed fan, but Djokovic is the GOAT and it won't be close by the time he is done.

I just want Matteo to take a set, no 3-0.

A nice 3-0 day. 5 in a row, ending strong. Let's keep it going Plisky.

Well, yeah, because it would appear that now you and Totes are claiming Fed's greatness both on his prowess coming back from 0-2 and his ability to NOT have to come back from 0-2.

I didn’t do that. I just pointed out that it’s flawed logic in what you had said.

That said, they can both be true. He’s played for a long fricking time.

I have an idiotic parlay on Pliskova and Berrettini. Not a good start for Karo.

Pliskova being only 29 is baffling to me.

Su-Wei Hsieh has to be mind-numbingly frustrating to play against. I'm reminded by this every time I watch her, yet there is something that is pleasing about me seeing her do well.

She is the old guy at your local tennis club with the junk game who gives you no pace and cut shots and frustrates the heck out of you.

Kinda weird to withhold information on an injury from the player no?

quote:

Ash Barty said her team told her they'd withheld information they'd gotten from specialists about her hip injury in Paris before Wimbledon, which doctors had said would be a "two-month injury."

"Being able to play here at #Wimbledon was nothing short of a miracle," says Barty.

"Just even chatting to my team now, once we've come off the court, they kept a lot of cards close to their chest and didn't tell me a lot of the odds, didn't tell me a lot of the, I suppose, information that they'd got from other specialists,” she said.
