That was an incredible college baseball game while also showing the weakness of the game and the regional format. The teams had no arms left. UNC pitched two kids who had thrown nearly a full game's worth of pitches a day or two prior. FAU's bullpen couldn't consistently find the strike zone and by the end they were throwing absolute meatballs. Was awesome to watch, but it was truly a battle of attrition.

It showed the weakness of the coach of UNC for exploiting his arms like that instead of going to the bullpen.

They don't do it after beating teams below them. Aka winning our regional.

they walked in a few runs after going up 3 in the top of the inning and were constantly behind in the count as well. they battled, but they couldn't close the deal on two different occasions.
