Ace, Leger, plans to redshirt this year to fully rehab the surgeries he underwent. This will be a big blow for the Cajuns, as they're ranked 18th nationally and were primed for a big year.

Nah not being a dick about it. It's been known as a poorly kept secret. They just officially announced it.

Different baseball season, same story.

Every season ULL is supossed to be hot shite in baseball, and the end of the season rolls around and they are not even winning the sun belt, and struggling to make a regional.

On the rare occurance that they have a decent year, they host a regional and lose to a middle of the road SEC 2 seed.

He should use this year to transfer to the real baseball program 60 miles down I-10.

You do realize that they hosted a Super Regional not too long ago?

This has literally never happened. They hosted a regional that they won a few years ago that included Moo State

The other regional they hosted, they lost to Arizona who was the runner up in Omaha

They are ranked #18 in 1 poll and unranked in the all the others. I wouldn't book your room for Omaha just yet.

Travel ball is horrible on young pitching arms.
Leger gave LSU all they could handle as a true fr in that super regional!

Sun Belt baseball is better than Big 10 baseball

I agree, McNeese would love to have a hometown guy.

Oh wait, you meant LSU.
