Great call here. Petr's DQ cost me a nice little parlay but still had a great night on the bets

Honestly I thought he would knock him out. I thought he beat him handedly despite the commentary acting like Jan was losing on the feet.

Where do y’all bet. I feel like I would do much better betting mma than horse racing.

Yeah he definitely knows. There is a reason why one side has been openly courting the fight and the other has been crickets. When you grow up in the game together you both know what’s up.

Betting is legal up here in Rhode Island so I just use the mobile app.
I know there are some quasi legal options like Mybookie.AG in LA/TX tho.

Lasagna took some pretty big shots. The re was one where he got clipped in the chin where anyone else would have went down but he stayed up. Ain't nobody knocking that dude out at middleweight. That division is pretty much on lockdown.

Complement-whore Joe Rogan was so biased towards Adesanya, constantly hyping him during the fight. Yeah, he’s great and talented but you still have to call the fight as is. If you listened to the audio only, you’d think Jan was being dominated and outclassed.

I think Robert Whitaker is gonna come back strong in the rematch. I’m assuming that is his next fight

But Jan wasn't getting beat, all three judges had him up 2-1 going into the fourth round. Rogan was watching a different fight than the rest of us. At one point they were talking about Adasanya getting more shots in while a graphic being displayed showed the exact opposite. I like Rogan but sometimes he can be a little fanboyish in how he calls a fight. Last night was one of those times.

Speaking of Sterling...dude is already calling out Cejudo. Either fight Jan or get lost. Dude was milking it with “I don’t want to win it that way” but now he’s has no problem talking trash. You can’t have it both ways.

Petr is a dumbass, and his corner is even a bigger dumbass. But he was having the best of Sterling both on the feet and even the few times the fight went to the ground. He has to get the immediate rematch.

What I don’t get is that Eddie Alvarez did the same shite to poirier and they said it wasn’t intentional. That knee was much worse it was two of them and one opened poirier up. I don’t think yan intentionally hit sterling he just got caught up in the moment. Seems to be a huge hole in the rule. I’d prefer for it to be a no contest and then the fight can be rescheduled.

Intentional in that he knew what he was downed and still went for....but based on the exchange we know one person in his corner misled him. It was intentional, but definitely not malicious.

As for the no contest vs DQ, someone made the argument of what's to stop a champion to pull that in a close fight that they aren't sure they are winning? So from that angle, I get it.

But in this case, anything other than an immediate rematch barring injury would be messed up.

I don’t know what they said in Russian, but they clearly told him “punches only” in English when aljo was down. I actually believe him when he said he basically forgot about his knees being down, and once he realized aljo’s hands were up, he thought it was legal. Definitely a brain fart that cost him big. Regardless, they should have to run that back immediately, frick cejudo, dillashaw, etc.
They should pay Sandhagen to weigh-in on that card in case one fighter pulls out last minute.

I can’t decide If Aljo’s striking was really that bad or he just got so hurt early that it zapped his legs and everything was off after that

he was just all over the place. Very undisciplined. And didn't really seem to have a game plan.
