Amazing resiliency from both guys, I know it probably won’t happen but I would love to see this fight again a ways from now

I agree. Not sure why Ortega tried to play a standup battle. Either way, what a hell of a fight.
bc he is a good boxer
and when he tried to take Max down, he couldn't
Max is too big and strong. Dude walks around at 185

I want to see Max vs Ferguson now

He had to. Ortega couldn’t take max down.
Hell of a fight. Ortega proved himself a warrior even in a loss. Max looks like the stand up version of khabib. Absolutely relentless.

A few thing; Max kept distance wonderfully and when Ortega did get him down, it didn't last long at all. Plus, every time they clinched, Max was able to get out of danger fast.
All of that leads to total demoralization....and the jabs that he was taking during that entire time only led to more of it.
Tough to stick to what you know should work when your will has been zapped from you.

Yeah, because taking down Max Holloway is such an easy thing to do

no shite. max is a goddamn animal. ortega had a nice run to the title but when max pressured him and literally stood in his face ortega had no answer.
the better fighter won, and that may be the best fight i've ever seen. flawless execution of his game plan and and ortega couldn't handle that shite at all. even when ortega landed a hard shot max kept pressuring and landed 5 more to counter it

Yeah that would be a crazy fight but I want to see Ferguson whip khabib first.
Not sure if Max could take Tony though. As many times as Ortega hit him I would hate to see what his face would look like after taking them blades from Tony.

Max’s combos are sick. The left jab, jab, right straight was landing all night

You just start watching MMA yesterday?

Would love to see what Ortega’s eye looks like today

So happy for Max, didn’t think he’d be back so strong. His hand speed was so much faster than Ortega.

Bad omen when it was leaked that Ortega was in discussions to film a movie after this fight.

Yeah he might have been believing the hype a little too much. Super interested in where his career goes from here. Sounds like he’s used to whipping on people, from his interviews, see if he levels up his striking game.
