Lulz at you Cormier fans. Fricking pathetic.

You know what Maia has got. He only strikes to setup a take down. My beef with Woodley's performance is that he is a Knock out artist and he did not show that at all last night. He jabbed and singled his way to a decision victory. That is not the way a knockout champion should not lose his fights.
Look at Jones/Cormier fight, neither cared about not losing. They were looking to end the fight and win. It was the complete opposite of the Woodley/Maia snooze fest.

Woodley can fight any way he wants to. But he needs to stop complaining that: he gets no respect from fans, can't get a big money fight (GSP), mma fans are racist and so on.
Posted on 7/30/17 at 1:46 pm to Vood
Every time he put on a good combination Maia pulled that dead fish routine to try and get him to the ground. Woodley told him frick that you're gonna have to punch me to win and it turned into a staring match.

I don't understand the hate that Woodley is getting for the fight

What "dead fish routine"?
Posted on 7/30/17 at 2:06 pm to StrongBackWeakMind
He was begging Maia to strike with him. Maia was falling to the ground on jabs to bait him on the ground.
Posted on 7/30/17 at 2:07 pm to StrongBackWeakMind
Falling the ground in an attempt to bait him in to going to the ground where Maia has the advantage. Happened multiple times
Posted on 7/30/17 at 2:08 pm to wildtigercat93
I remember that happening twice. You're acting like he was boot scooting, begging Woodley to join him on the ground the whole fight.
And give me a break that he was begging Maia to strike with him.

Happened atleast 3 times. Ref made him stand up on one and two others were during the few exchanges with Woodley

He dropped his hands for an entire round

So in 25 minutes, he did it three times? And you're turning that into
If he wanted to strike with Maia, he had every opportunity. He was scared to strike with Demian fricking Maia.
Leapinh jab, haymaker right, reset and wait for Demian to engage again.
"Greatest welterweight of all time." baaaahahaha
We couldn't stop laughing at that.

The damn Cyborg fight was better than the Woodley fight. But both were pathetic.
Give me five rounds of Cowboy vs Lawler and I don't even need to see those other two sorry excuses for a fight.

There wasn't a lot of action in that whole fight, so yeah 3 exchanges would be a majority of the fight
Idk what you're talking about with the GOAT welterweight thing. I just don't understand why he's getting hate and Maia gets a pass

I want Overeem vs Jones. I think that'd be fun
Posted on 7/30/17 at 2:33 pm to wildtigercat93
He called himself the "greatest welterweight of all time."
He was getting hate at my house because he was hesitant to strike with Demian Maia. Demian was the one pushing the pace.
Typical wrestler striking. Close eyes, throw bomb.

We saw the fight very differently I guess

You didn't think he was hesitant to strike with Maia?

You guys are so frickong reactionary, Cormier was winning that fight. Cormier looked like he would have had opportunities to finish in time as well as he was getting some great counters. Jones caught him with a kick that D.C. helped out on by ducking into. I don't think jones wins that fight otherwise
Lesnar would also decapitate Jones, it takes one shoot and jones may never stand again, there's not much else too it
Are you always this dumb?

Just based on your posts in this thread, I'm going to guess you spend most of your time on the SEC Rant.
Posted on 7/30/17 at 3:27 pm to StrongBackWeakMind
I deffinitly didn't think Maia was pushing the pace
