This board and other fans said he would never make it in the Nfl, he is too small, too high, etc etc

I think the first team all pro that has his team in the AFC champ game deserves all the credit a man can give

I for one, offer my credit to the honey badger!!!!!

I don't remember anyone saying he couldn't make it as a football player.

He got out of his own way. Good on him, but no one doubted his ability and talent.

Only causal fans said that. Anybody with actual football IQ knew Mathieu was perfect for today's NFL.

Ball skills are off the charts and he can cover the slot, blitz and tackle.

I imagine that someone said he wasn’t a good fit in the nfl and that morris claiborne made him look better than he is

I don’t know what kind of a retard would say that, but i imagine that someone did

Was pretty consensus leading up to the drsft he wouldn’t be a good nfl player according to this site

MSB was slower then though. But SEC rant was in full force

quote:

Kid couldn't focus in a "controlled" environment at LSU. How the hell does anyone expect him to stay out of trouble with hundred dolla bills in his back pocket.

quote:

TM7- Low risk as a 4th rounder anything higher than a mid 3rd might be a shot worth taking for a team with several compensation picks(ex. Balt).

Here is that thread where it’s pretty much agreed about Manti teo is the better draft pick over Matthieu

LINK

The sec rant thread has better gems.....Most of a certain fan base was convinced he couldn’t make it in the nfl because a certain Tight end owned him in a game with 60 yards total

Honestly that wasn’t said much

It was more:

“He is too small”

“He gave up a WHOLE 60 yards to our receiver!!!”

LSU fan tards were pretty consistent with

“He is a loser on that dope!!! Not a team player!! “

no one would own up to it now, but you're absolutely right.

Oh wow, this is, so, awkward

That is tt9 saying he would take Dee Milliner, a guy who couldn’t make it in the nfl, over two time all pro Tyrann Matthieu
