How much more money was to be made by pulling the All Star Game from Charlotte over tranny bathrooms?

Saying that China owns the SCS and Taiwan is the single biggest political statement ESPN has ever made by a looooooooooong shot

The graphic itself is just a symptom of the bigger issue going on with regards to the amount of pull China has with various companies.
Whether this is remembered by next week depends on whether ESPN is forced to acknowledge they were pushing PRC propaganda and if they can apologize for it in a way that doesn’t make Winnie The Pooh endanger Disney’s businesses in that country.

Unless this is shopped no way that this was an accident. The SCS was where people said WW3 was brewing as recently as two years ago with the fake island stuff.

It's in no way an accident. No one would ever go out of their way to make this map as it is without the concerted effort to show China owns these two possessions

China is a bully. They threaten any American business that doesn’t bend to their will. We need to blockade their asses. Why are American companies so obsessed with growth over there and willing to sell out for it?

Blame this one on the House of Mouse, not the NBA.
I love the latest South Park where Mickey is whoring himself out to China.

maybe, but I wouldnt be shocked to see an apology
I would. Who would they apologize to? They obviously dgaf about Americans or the southeast Asian countries. Plus any apology would surely piss off China and bring backlash to ABC/disney/espn.

Because they see 1.5 billion people or more as a huge future market and cream themselves over the possibilities.
Problem being that the buying power of those people isn’t very high at the moment and dealing with the Chinese government is ornerous to say the least.
God forbid you deal in intellectual properties like software or media.

Gotta be honest I had no idea people gave a frick about this. The Hong Kong thing has been going on for weeks and only now that there was a comment made from an NBA owner people are acting like their life revolves around it.
