Refreshing dose of common sense from Dr. Gregory Stewart - who is widely respected in the field of sports medicine. Would be nice to see other team doctors voice their support to play.

We're as safe as we can be... If we can get past all the students coming back to campuses across the country, I'm ready to play on September 3rd

Better start looking for a new opponent. Pussies in SLU administration are cancelling the season.

I don't think he used the right form of science for his opinion, did he bring emotions into his reasoning along with some OMB?

You know, I always thought that Tulane was like a Streisand, but I think they're rockin' the shite on this one!

frick it! Let the AAC get a real shot at a playoff spot this season.

Hell, have a play-in game for that fourth spot between them, the SunBelt, and C-USA if they all play, if there is no sure-fire fourth team from SEC, ACC, or Big XII.

That would really stick it to the B1G and PAC.

This fascist white supremacist doctor needs to be doxed, fired, and cancelled. We need to find out who his family members are as well so we can ruin their lives too.

As soon as we get their address, we are sending our foot soldiers out to correct this wrong think.

Sincerely,

Democrat Voters

7,642 Tulane staff and students tested
33 positive

Using the Hyatt to test and quarantine until test results come in.

They claim that they are a just as good as the other power conferences and should be included. This is their chance to prove it. They should invite Nebraska for one year to fill the spot left open by UCONN leaving the conference.

We believe him because he is telling us what we want to hear.

If he said the opposite, we would ask how this idiot sports medicine "doctor" knows shite about viral disease.

Truly remarkable. The campus bubble idea was certainly executed tremendously by Tulane.

You still have to wonder what happens with the students living off campus, and what happens if The Boot re-opens.

Thats about a third of the numbers that need testing, but 33 is good.

Everyone will be tested; they aren't all in yet and everyone was given a check-in date.
I think they are testing the football players 2x per week.

Yes, and now they have to keep all of the students in the bubble.

from what I have read, Tulane has done a good job compared to other schools.
Not sure how you deal with people living off campus - as it makes a huge hole in the "bubble". A campus like Notre Dame would have a much easier time doing that.

also, the Boot seems problematic

Does cancellation come from above, Southland Conference... and SLU’s lack of funds

Most teams are doing well. The fact that B1G is going to continue practicing is just crazy. These teams are doing a way better job of keeping their players sage than they would be otherwise.

Well, they definitely won't be picking this up nationally, and on the ESPN family of broadcasting.

But he's right...these kids are safer in these team protocols to themselves and others than they would be otherwise. I mean if this is a about safety that's all that should matter.

But that's not what it's about.

It shouldn’t be open under prevailing restrictions.
