In conference call with major league sports commissioners on Saturday, President Donald Trump said he believes the NFL season should start on time in September
Donald Trump also told commissioners that he hopes to have fans back in stadiums and arenas by August and September
NBA commissioner Adam Silver told those on Trump conference call that the leagues were the first to shut down and that they would love to lead the way in starting the economy once there was an “all clear” from public health officials

I went to one in Seattle one time after they had just drafted Sue Bird. Navy buddy was from Connecticut and was a big fan.
Most exciting part was Ray Allen was at the game because he just got traded there and Lenny Wilkens was there.

Hoping and actually having are two different things. I get the point of this conference call, but it's a moot thing to do at this point sports-wise. I
I hope that he's right about this but we're in mid-July now in terms of sports events being cancelled. I can watch classic games for only so long

I want to believe but so far Trump has been overly optimistic on things like this. I hope he is 100% correct thought.

I hope I can believe him but he’s been wrong an awful lot lately. If he gets the NFL on time, I’ll vote for him in November
