Auburn is vastly overrated. They have a win over a decent Oregon team, an average TAMU team, and trash. LSU will beat them by 2+ touchdowns.
Moral of the story, beating Auburn won’t mean anything if they can’t beat Bama.

Have to also add that schedules are made well in advance. UCLA looked to be a promising team a few years ago.
Texas barely beat Kansas.
People are too willing to bash people for playing “weak” teams like UCLA when it’s hard to schedule tough opponents knowing they will be tough.
Like LSU/Miami. Miami was thought to be a tough game but ended up being a mediocre team
