No, I don't care about the color of the officiating crew's skin. I won't watch because I don't want to hear nor give credence to the empty lecture that would accompany it (inclusion, fairness, racism, bla bla bla). If you want true diversity and inclusion, applying racism and quotas is doing exactly the opposite. It's not ending racism--It's perpetuating it.
Please describe the hypothetical all-white crew, whereby they were assigned strictly based on the color of their skin. It would never happen because, you know, racism. So yes, this hypothetical would be very different. So different, in fact, it would never fricking happen.
I'm not bothered. Like I said, I wasn't watching anyway. Posting here is just passing the time as I search for an online portal to redeem my white privilege credits.
So merit and the integrity of the game took a back seat to needless virtue signaling? That’s not to say any or all of these guys are unqualified or aren’t good at their jobs. But clearly this crew was put together on a basis other than simply ability.
