It means if the defense held up, Aranda would get an interview after Fisher is fired after year five.

If Texas offers $3mill (and they can), does LSU match that?

The NFL can, and he's going to get some calls this off season.

Forget about money. What's his background? What are his aspirations? People just like focusing on the "he loves being here in this situation" angle, but can anyone not close really know what the guy wants in life?

Sounds like Harrell is the moreikely choice for Texas, so Brady may stick around another year after all.

Texas has some deep pockets but there are extraneous forces in play for the Longhorns that affect their program that can drive away prospective coaching talent.

I can understand the defensive coordinator, but isn't this guy some sort of young, innovative "offensive guru?" He's canning two offensive coaches (including the coordinator) that he personally selected?

I sense that the dude is nothing more than a fraud.

HCIW that was a lie made up by the anti O crowd to make it seem like that was the only way aranda would stay and work for Eddie.

it was the faction of the fanbase who separated aranda from o and the rest of the program when O was hired. According to them O wouldn’t get credit for any of the defense since aranda was already here when he was hired. And that aranda was given HCIW title bc the program would fall apart if he left and it was just a matter of time before he took over from Ed.

Every aspect of those takes were laughable at the time and even more laughable in retrospect.

Not to mention his boss at LSU is about to get a raise and extension, while Tom Herman’s job status is going to be on thin ice if Texas isn’t contending for a Big 12 title game at the end of next season. LSU is in a much more stable spot for him

I watched Valkyrie over the weekend. This reminds me of the general who had Tom Cruise's character and others shot to save his own arse.

That’s weird. The rant has been claiming it was O and E’s foundation that is the reason for the success of Burrow and the offense this season. Brady has just added a few tips
