He likely would have done much worse and lost the game by more. He had 74 yards and 3 interceptions in the second half against a much worse defense than TB's...

Yet he won and Rodgers is going home when he had 3 chances to not.

Brady did enough to win, which he typically does even of it isn't always pretty.

At this point there's just no denying he has some intangible ability to just win. Others may be flashier, put up better numbers, etc, but he just wins. And there's plenty large enough a sample size to deduce that it's not an aberration.

Yes, because the best QB doesn't always win. This isn't hard...

If his team wins with objectively less efficient, less effective output from the quarterback position, maybe there are other variables at play...

10 SB's
6 SB wins
Twice as many playoff wins as anyone else.

Takes a team with a losing record to the SB in his 1st year in a new division and conference.

At what point do you just quit trying to hate on him and accept that's he's the best?

Nobody will ever put up those numbers again.

There is certainly something to be said for his leadership and will that rubs off on his teammates. It's a real intangible that cannot be accounted for with stats, and it drives the nerds crazy when simpletons even THINK to bring it up.

But it's there.

Brady has also been really lucky over the course of his career.

Y'all have fun.

Exactly. Leadership is something that doesn't show up in stats except in the win column. Nerds can't chart it in Excel so they dismiss it.

That dime Brady threw with two seconds before half for a TD is why he has been so successful. He had 202 yards and 2 TDs in the 1st half on the road and took an 11-point lead into half rather than maybe a 4 or 7 point lead.

Tampa had 1 winning season in the last 9 years before this year. Tampa's D was awesome and BIG in them getting the win, but the bomb before half was huge.

He plays the only position that you can play to 40+ at

Also the only time he got hurt the NFL literally changed the rules to make sure he was protected.

Didn't really happen until after the hit job that the Saints put out on Brett Favre in their championship game.

I mean, he was still 2nd in pass TDs and 3rd in passing yards this year at 43 with a new team. I always rooted against him, but he's going to the Super Bowl with a team that was a consistent loser while his old team, the most consistent winning NFL team had its first losing season in 20 years.

Brady is incredible.

I hate the Bucs and NE, but give that man his due.

He gets shite done.

Unquestioned GOAT.

Exactly no one will ever play for teams as good as Brady's. But when there is another guy who played the same time as and you won 5 MVPs and was better than you almost every year you're not the GOAT

I am not a Brady fan, but going to 10 Super Bowls in his career as starting QB is virtually untouchable. Very GOAT worthy.

Saints don't win a Super Bowl without intentionally injuring players
