Guess it took his own son transferring out to finally get the message across to him?

Hawai'i football coach Todd Graham, facing mounting allegations of mistreating players in the program, resigned Friday after two seasons with the school. Graham's decision comes a week after a state senate hearing in which former players provided testimony alleging verbal abuse and other problems within the culture of the football program. Athletic director David Matlin and other administrators remained supportive of Graham despite the allegations and the departures of 17 players via the NCAA's transfer portal since November.

Times change. Later in his career Bear Bryant eased up on the physical practices and even allowed players to drink water during practice and watched practice from the tower and left it to the assistants mostly for hands-on instruction and practice. He also eased up on grabbing players by the face mask.

Can't help but feel racial undertones here about Hawaii wanting to run the Haole off the island.

Other than Norm Chow, how many times has Hawaii had a head coach from Hawaii?

ETA: And even having been born and raised there, Norm Chow ain’t exactly “Hawaiian,” if you catch my drift.

Maybe Todd Graham is just a gaping a-hole.

Asking people at Rice, Tulsa, Pitt, and Arizona State would be a good start.

All you heard about him here in Houston when he was at Rice is how big of an a-hole he is and everyone hated him.

If a coach needs to call someone names to coach them then he isn’t a very good coach.
