While the JT was duchesque and could have just signalled a Marshall, agree that there's a code of conduct on the Golf Course & Gallery which should be respected. Hate to see it go the way of cruising & air travel. Still room for etiquette in the world, so let's leave Golf alone, please. We have plenty of ballplayers & Umpires left to vent our frustrations on.

I enjoy golf, but pro golfers have arguably the least amount of adversity of any pro athlete. The vast majority are silver spoon folks. It's not surprise a young pro is a douchebag at the slightest bit of adversity.

I have no problem with golf fans in general... they make a broadcast more exciting , however when a player shanks one in the trees or tough , throngs of fans go crazy trying to see where the ball ends up... for what reason??????

I'm fine with it. There's a certain etiquette to the game of golf, the fans are literally 5 ft away so you can hear everything (on TV as well) and if you allow that it means that any fan can heckle any player at any time, in addition to fricking yelling "get in the hole". It's the same reason you can't yell shite at a tennis match.
If people want to yell whatever they want, let's put bleachers around the outside of the entire country club be the only spectator viewing and they can have at it.
