The nfl actually settles it on the field and not arbitrary bureaucracy. That will be highlighted even more this year when someone votes in Oregon or similar who has only played a couple games

I've always been more of a CFB guy but I will say the NFL games feel a lot more real this season

That hasn't bothered me. The product just hasn't been good. Players in and out, players not practicing, games being canceled. It's just been a mess.

It's sad that halfway through each season, the 32-team NFL has 4x as many viable SB teams as the 120-team CFB.
I still believe that is the biggest problem facing CFB.

LSU being shitty has to do with some of it, but I agree. Watching non LSU games this year, it's not even close to being the same. It's just not worth watching.
NFL has been fine this year even without many fans.

Even before we knew LSU sucked it’s still just very enjoyable
That MSU game just felt like a spring scrimmage and not a home opener

The NFL is still having an organized real season.
CFB is having random exhibition games that may or may not be played.

I like a season where a bunch of G5s are in the Top 25.
I’m watching MUCH more college than NFL this season.

I'm not saying that the G5s should not be highly ranked. I just think the teams that would have risen would be VERY different in a normal season.

If this was a normal year I’d be loving every millisecond of that.

The REAL issue here are the schools are losing TONS of money right now. We are all going to be in survival mode for the time being as the pot of gold will temporarily run out.
The bleeding will accelerate next summer once the poor FB and BB revenues add up.
