Lol because he had a job that paid . I don’t think you know about Garnett before the NBA . He stayed kicking arse in the streets almost ruined his future . Nothing to be proud of but if there was an all out brawl between NBA guys, best believe Garnett is someone you want on your side .

That's an incredibly stupid list. MJ and Bird are easily top 3 all time. Ali was more of an attention whore than a trash talker. Bird trash talked and immediately backed it up.

Jordan would be my pick. He was notoriously vicious, and not just to opponents. The story about making Kwame Brown cry in practice when Kwame was a rookie is classic MJ.

My favorite Bird shite talking story is the one about him drilling a three in front of the Pistons (I think) bench on Christmas Day, turning and yelling “Merry fricking Christmas” at them as he ran back down the court.
Also how he would always ask personnel from the home team what the scoring record was in that arena before the game

I mean were McEnroe and Sanders actual trashtalkers per textual interpretation of that term? I know McEnroe bitched a ton and Prime Time showed up his opponents with the high-stepping and dancing but never recall them ever perceived as trashtalkers in the sense like Ali and Reggie, I'd personally replace those 2 with Larry Bird and Gary Payton, maybe Lawrence Taylor, Shannon Sharpe or Ray Lewis IDK Ray LOVED talking shite to opponents
